There’s something about a warm pan of homemade biscuits that just brings comfort into a busy day. These 4-ingredient biscuits are one of my favorite quick recipes-soft, golden, and ready in minutes with ingredients most of us already have on hand. They’re perfect next to soups, cozy breakfasts, or simple weeknight dinners. If you’ve been craving a no-fuss, dependable homemade biscuit, this is the one.

4-Ingredient Homemade Biscuits (Easy, Fluffy, & From Scratch)

These 4-Ingredient homemade biscuits are soft, fluffy, and ready in minutes. Made with simple pantry staples, they're the perfect quick bread for cozy breakfasts, soups or easy weeknight dinners. No fuss, no complicated steps-just warm, comforting biscuits from scratch.
Servings 6

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, frozen
  • 3/4 cup whole milk, or more if dry

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450℉
  • Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl place the flour and salt.
  • Using a grater, grate the frozen !/4 cup of butter into bowl
  • Add milk. stir gently until a soft dough forms, if too dry add a few more tablespoons until combined.
  • Knead and cut biscuit on lightly floured surface. Knead dough together five times, that is all! If you over knead you will have tough biscuits. Flatten dough with hands or rolling pin to 1/2 ich or more , depending on the thickness you like. Place biscuits on cookie sheet, sides touching.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until tops and bottoms are golden brown.

Notes

Chef’s Note:
For the best biscuits please do not over knead or over mix.  Use frozen butter it really makes a difference in the final texture. so don’t let it warm up too much while you work.
