MEET BECKY

HELLO! So glad you are here!

A Few Fun Facts About Me

Home Sweet Home- I’m a proud Wisconsinite who loves cozy winters, crisp fall days, the shores of lake Michigan, and my husband would say he “loves the beer”- I disagree, it’s the old fashions that do it for me.

Golden Retriever Approved- If there’s a golden retriever nearby, I’m probably giving it all the belly rubs and treats.

Thrifting Enthusiast- I believe the best treasures are found at thrift stores, flea markets, and estate sales-especially when they add charm to my home!

Flower and Gardening Lover-I’m not a super great gardener but I do try. I really do love a garden full of blooms or a simple vase of flowers on the kitchen table. I’m also super happy when I can pick a small crop of something fresh from my 2 small raised bed gardens. It’s not fancy but it’s nice to have a little something to work with.

From-Scratch Cooking Enthusiast-Nothing beats homemade- whether it’s fresh bread, a hearty soup, or a chocolate cake.

Why I Started This Blog

From a young age, I’ve always just really loved making a house feel like home. No matter where we lived I tried my best to make our surroundings cozy and inviting. Whether it’s cooking from scratch, decorating on a budget, or creating warm and welcoming spaces, I believe homemaking is an art-and one that should be fun, fulfilling, and practical. Through this blog, I hope to share with you what I’ve learned (and what I’m still learning) so that you can create a home you love too!
