Eady homemade peanut butter granola in a bowl with milk for breakfast

Crunchy, lightly sweet, and packed with real peanut butter flavor, this homemade peanut butter granola is perfect for breakfast, snacks, or sprinkling over yogurt. Made with simple pantry ingredients and naturally sweetened with honey, it bakes into crisp clusters without being hard like many store-bought granolas.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

If you’re a peanut butter lover, this granola is hard to beat. It has just enough sweetness from honey, plenty of peanut butter flavor, and a satisfying crunch while still being easy to eat.

I started making homemade granola because I wanted something that tasted fresh and wasn’t loaded with unnecessary ingredients. Many store-bought granolas are overly sweet or so hard they feel like you’re chewing on rocks. This version stays crisp while still having a pleasant bite.

It’s great for breakfast with milk (my favorite is vanilla almond milk), sprinkled over yogurt, or simply enjoyed by the handful as an afternoon snack.

FAQ’s

Can I use natural peanut butter?

Can I freeze homemade granola?

Yes. Store it in a freezer-safe container for up to three months. Let it come to room temperature before serving.

Why isn’t my granola crunchy?

Granola continues to crisp as it cools. Resist stirring it while cooling if you’d like large clusters.
